The MULTI-1 antiwear treatment is a product which has been conceived to be used in hydraulic systems, compressors and turbines.
Because of its exceptional antiwear properties, MULTI-1, added to your oil will help to reduce wear as far as the pump and other mobile parts of the system are concerned and to increase the level of resistance to oxidation and to corrosion.
PROBLEM / HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
The hydraulic oils are submitted to particular operating conditions and must respond to the following criterias:
- 1. Resistance to oxidation
The hydraulic oils, particularly those with a mineral oil base, must possess very good features of resistance to oxidation. This being due to the extreme pressure and temperatures to which they are submitted.
2. Resistance to corrosion. The hydraulic oils must possess excellent properties of resistance to corrosion to protect the system's mobile parts.
3. Resistance to wear.
The hydraulic oils must possess excellent properties of resistance to wear in order to protect hydraulic pumps and other mobile parts of the system.
