FeatureCAM includes a steps toolbox with wizards to walk you through the entire part creation process. FeatureCAM will select the appropriate tools from a standard tool crib or from a tool crib defined by the user. It then calculates the optimum feed and speed rates, generates the most efficient toolpath, provides a full-color graphical simulation, and creates NC code. If needed, the user has the option to edit each step of the operation. FeatureCAM includes export and import options and automatically creates documentation including a detailed operations sheet, tool lists, and cycle time estimates.
