CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) - As the holiday shopping days keep counting down, Rockwell® makes it easier to find something special for your favorite tool fans. Topping this year’s list of most-wanted tool innovations are the new Rockwell 20V Brushless Drill-Driver and Impact Driver Combo, Rockwell Sonicrafter® F30 oscillating tool and the Rockwell BladeRunner® X2 portable benchtop saw.

This yuletide, Rockwell offers a combo kit that includes a 20-volt, brushless drill-driver paired with a 20-volt, brushless impact driver. These leading-edge, cordless power tools feature maintenance-free brushless motors with internal software controls (smart chips) that increase lithium-ion battery run-time by up to 50 percent per charge.

Besides ending the need to replace carbon brushes, Rockwell’s brushless motors conserve battery power, run quieter, keep cooler and last longer. These durable brushless tools carry an unprecedented 20-year warranty. Once the tools are registered, replacement batteries are free for 20 years.

The 20V Brushless Drill-Driver weighs only 3.7 lbs. (with battery), and its compact size and short headstock allow easy access in tight quarters. The drill-driver has overmold on the back of the handle for a steady grip and a belt clip for easy carrying.

The brushless drill-driver is powered by a 20V MaxLithium, 2.0 Ah battery. It has a two-speed gearbox with no-load speeds of 0-600 and 0-2000 rpm. The tool’s ½-inch metal chuck has 18+1 clutch positions to handle any number of drilling and driving jobs.

Rockwell’s 20V brushless impact driver develops 1500 in./lbs. of torque for rapidly driving screws into hardwoods all day long. The tool’s concussions are channeled to the screw, not the user’s wrist or forearm. Its compact size and stubby headstock provide better access into tight spaces.

The 3.0-lb. brushless impact driver has a ¼-inch chuck and accepts ¼-inch. hex-shanked bits. It has a speed range of 0-2850 no-load rpm and delivers 0-3000 blows per minute (bpm). An LED work light doubles as a low-battery-charge indicator when blinking. There’s comfortable overmold on the back of the handle for a secure grip. The tool also is equipped with a belt clip.

The Rockwell 20V Brushless Drill-Driver and Impact Driver Combo (RK1807K2, $219.99) includes two, 2.0 Ah MaxLithium batteries, a one-hour charger, two, double-ended bits and a soft storage bag. It’s available at http://www.rockwelltools.com , Amazon and Menards.

The Rockwell Sonicrafter F30 oscillating tool is sure to brighten the holidays of do-it-yourselfers. The F30 packs nearly twice the cutting speed of its nearest competitor due to a greater oscillating angle of 4°. This redesigned multi-tool is leaner, more tapered and can power through tough jobs without bogging down.

The 2.9-lb. Sonicrafter F30 also features Universal Fit™ and Hyperlock™. Universal Fit enables Rockwell’s line of accessories to fit all major oscillating tool brands without sacrificing fit or performance. The Hyperlock blade clamping system applies one metric ton of force against the accessory to eliminate the possibility of slippage during a cut.

The Rockwell Sonicrafter F30 (RK5131K, $99.99) comes with 32 Universal Fit accessories and case. It’s available at http://www.rockwell tools.com, Lowe’s and other select major retailers. It has a 3 year warranty.

What better gift is there for the tool lover who has everything than the lightweight, portable benchtop saw that cuts just about everything. The BladeRunner X2 uses assorted, T-shank, jigsaw blades to cut wood, PVC, plastic, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, as well as ceramic tile. This lightweight, portable benchtop saw does the work of multiple saws by making fast and accurate rip, cross, scroll, inside and miter cuts.

BladeRunner X2 is ideal for home workshops, or it easily can be carried right to the project’s location. The affordable, compact saw weighs less than 15 lbs. and measures 6 ¾ inches high. The saw’s tabletop measures 17 inches wide by 15 ¾ inches deep.

Changing blades is simple. Just press down and slide the blade release lever on the left side of the saw to seat or release the blade. Once the blade is in position, guide rollers ensure accurate 90 degree cutting at all times.

The BladeRunner X2’s hold-down arm adjusts to match the thickness of the work piece and incorporates a splitter to help keep straight cuts on track. The benchtop saw’s fence has two adjustment knobs to align work pieces for straight and accurate rip cutting. A miter gauge also is provided for making angle cuts.

The versatile benchtop saw is powered by a 5.5-amp motor that delivers 3,000 strokes per minute. Its durable base is impact resistant and supported by four, non-marring rubber feet. Built-in storage is provided for the fence and miter gauge.
