Hermann Schmidt's line of low profile magnetic chucks are designed to increase capacity, reduce set-up time and improve accuracy on Sinker EDM machines.

Several sizes are available from 4" x 4" to 12" x 12" and are easily adapted to most work holding systems from manually operated to fully automated robotic systems.

Permanent rare earth magnets and fine pole design provide excellent holding power for a wide variety of work pieces. All chucks are precision ground to a specific size to maintain consistent part location on multi- chuck applications. The 12" x 12" magnetic chuck is designed to be used on palletized systems. This chuck is only 1 ½" thick and is supplied with four rails to utilize the 144 square inches of working surface.

All chucks may be purchased individually or pre-mounted on most work holding systems.
