Since the introduction of GC4015 this grade has been the market leader in the P15 area. To retain this position and further accelerate the demand the grade has now been totally redesigned.
Thousands of test hours show that a minimum of 20% productivity increase can be achieved by using the new grade with optimized cutting data.
This revolutionary grade has a new substrate based on gradient technique to give the insert a unique combination of toughness and resistance to plastic deformation. On top of that is a high performance CVD coating for superior wear resistance.
You also gain substantial environmental and economical advantages due to its excellent performance in dry machining. You can reduce or eliminate coolant cost, part washing, environmental concerns, spray mess and cleanue, and disposal of spent coolant.
