Suitable for high-volume production operations, these air chucks feature a built-in air cylinder with a double-acting piston for OD and ID clamping. Air is supplied to the chuck either through an air tube assembly with rotating union, or directly in the side of the chuck body for stationary applications. The workpiece is clamped and located in top jaws and/or part stops designed for a specific application. Chucks are available with three, two, or six jaws in both standard (positioning accuracy of from 0.00010 to 0.000050 in. TIR) and Ultra Accuracy (0.000020 in. TIR) models.
