CA110 is a multi-layered carbide grade with a thick aluminum oxide coating
Kyocera America, Inc.multi-layered carbide grade with a thick aluminum oxide coating. Designed for general cast iron machining as well as semi-roughing to finishing of steels and stainless steels, the grade has excellent wear resistance.

Grade CA225 is a multi-layered coated carbide designed for rough turning and boring of steels and stainless steels. It can also be used for light interrupted cutting. Another grade, CR7015, is an advanced multi-layered coated carbide developed to withstand high temperatures. It is recommended for general machining of gray, ductile, and nodular iron, and for high-speed finishing of cast irons and steels.
