Four grades are available for turning hardened steels. Grades MB810 and MB820 are intended for continuous cutting applications, while grades MB825 and MB835 are for light and heavy interrupted cuts respectively. A fifth grade, MB710, combines wear and fracture resistance for general-purpose cutting of cast irons.

Users can select from three edge preparations—one for general cutting, one for continuous or stable machining conditions, and one for interrupted cuts. A variety of insert sizes and geometries, as well as double-corner type inserts, are available.
