Users of the Ultimate CNC chucking system can simplify workholding on CNC turning machines and slash downtime by changing, adjusting, or reversing top jaws in one minute. The chuck retrofits to existing machines using the original cylinder and drawtube, and accepts a wide range of jaws for various operations and workpiece types. Three sets of Deep Bite jaws, for example, cover a full grip range for both OD and ID chucking. Monoblock soft jaws can be bored, stored, and reinstalled with repeatability of +/-0.0005 in. TIR. Serrated jaws, collet pad top jaws, six-point rocker jaws for thin walled parts, and fine grip fiberglass jaws also are available.
