Cut, Capture And Charge: DEWALT Announces 60V MAX* Brushless 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw With Exceptional Runtime And 20% More Power‡

  • New miter saw delivers up to 675 cuts in 3-1/4 in. MDF base molding or 255 cuts in pressure treated 4 in. x 4 in. timber, with a single DEWALT FLEXVOLT DCB609 battery**

DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand and leader in total jobsite solutions, today announced the highly-anticipated 60V MAX* Brushless 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw (DCS781) that tackles demanding applications with 20% more power.‡ The miter saw provides users with efficiency through Regenerative Braking Technology that extends runtime by redirecting lost energy back into the battery while the bevel-drive transmission reduces power losses that may occur with belt-driven designs. Using one DEWALT FLEXVOLT DCB609 battery, the saw can make up to 675 cuts in 3-1/4 in. MDF base molding or 255 cuts in pressure treated 4 in. x 4 in. timber.

The saw has the ability to capture up to 94% of dust.*** The CUTLINE LED blade positioning system provides accurate cut line indication, while the controls make miter, bevel and trench cuts easy. Users can cut 6-1/2 in. baseboard standing up or 6-1/2 in. crown molding nested with the saw’s tall adjustable fences. The miter lock makes for seamless miter angle adjustment while the 12-3/16 in. horizontal cut and large carry handle maximize portability without sacrificing capability.

The 60V MAX* Brushless 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw will be available as a bare unit (tool only, DCS781B) or kitted (DCS781X1) in February 2023 where DEWALT products are sold.
