T20M and CP50 grade inserts are intended for general-purpose cutoff
Carboloy, Inc., A Seco Tools Company50 grade inserts are intended for general-purpose cutoff operations . Grades are available for the 150.10 Cut-Off System Blades in low-, medium-, and high-feedrate insert geometries.
T20M is designed to shorten production time and significantly increase cutting speeds when machining hard steels and grey or nodular cast iron, and in applications such as bearing manufacturing. This coated carbide grade features greater resistance to crater and flank wear, increasing tool life.
CP50 combines deformation resistance, and a high-strength edge to provide machining of steel and stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, cast iron, and other common work materials. It is a proven match for threading and grooving, and its combination of microrgrain substrate and PVD coating also makes it suited for general purpose cutoff.
