Diamond and CBN Products

CITCO Diamond & CBN Operations of Landis Gardner cubic boron nitride (CBN) products for cutting and grinding include a PCBN cutting tool grade for severe interrupted cuts in hard ferrous parts, a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) rotary dresser for CNC dressing applications, and a new generation of polyimide and vitrified CITCO Diamond & CBN Operations of Landis Gardner CBN grinding wheels.

The B-10 PCBN cutting grade is designed to handle interrupted cuts on hardened ferrous parts such as gears, splines, and shafts with keyways. A new PCD rotary dresser is a complement to flexible CNC dressing systems that are suitable for dressing conventional and CBN grinding wheels. The dresser extends the productive life of the dressing tool because the PCD can be re-sharpened a number times as it wears.

Polyimide and vitrified CITCO Diamond & CBN Operations of Landis Gardner CBN grinding wheels feature an induced-porosity, internally lubricated design. This design is said to extend wheel life and improve productivity in applications such as form grinding while reducing the burn that is often encountered in CBN grinding of hard ferrous parts.
