Diamond Coated End Mills

Circle Machine Co.-Mfgs of Circle Precision Cutting Tools introduces our DF-300 Diamond Coated Helical and Ball Nose Style End Mills that run as much as two to three times faster than conventional carbide end mills. They are introduced with 1/8" through 1/2" shank diameters, a 6% cobalt substrate, and two or four fluted.

The benefits of Circle's DF-300 Diamond Coated End Mills are unlimited. Not only do they run at higher cutting speeds, but the single piece construction allows for heavier cutting conditions.

Our Diamond Coated End Mills improve machining stability by retaining a sharp cutting edge longer, thereby reducing cutting pressure on the work piece and machine spindle. The sharp cutting edge combined with higher surface speeds result in increased surface finish on abrasive non-metallic materials.

The DF-300 End Mills retain a longer tooling life because the tool consists of a highly abrasion resistant, pure diamond coating over a solid carbide end mill. Tests show that one can obtain up to 50% more tool life over solid carbide in carbon composite material and up to 25% more life in graphite material; thus reducing tooling costs for users of Circle Machine Company's End Mills.

Circle's DF-300 products produce performance proven excellence in machining applications on abrasive nonmetallic materials such as:

    Carbon Fiber Composites
    Bisque Ceramics
    Fiberglass Composites
    Fiber-Reinforced Plastics
    Graphite
    Green Ceramics
