FDC Collet Chucks and Collets

Northbrook, IL - For increased accuracy, Lyndex Corporation offers its FDC line of Collet Chucks and Collets. Each assembly has been developed to meet the highest level of precision and versatility.

The chucks utilize a trapezoidal screw thread which minimizes any offset created by a chuck nut. The chuck nuts incorporate ball bearings to assure stress-free collet seating in the tool holder. Each collet is guaranteed to be within a runout tolerance of 0.00005" at the nose and less than 0.0002" at 4 times the collet I.D.

By using a 12 degree collet taper and full length I.D. contact, FDC collets have large collapsibility and strong gripping force while maintaining highest precision.

FDC collets come in 4 capacities, spanning from 0.019" to 0.866" in 0.5mm increments. They are rigid enough to be used for precision milling and drilling, yet versatile enough for reaming usage. The patented FDC coolant collet system may be used for coolant-thru-the spindle applications up to 1,000 p.s.i.

Each FDC collet chuck is given a durable kanigen coating to inhibit corrosion and extend its productive life. FDC collet systems are immediately available from stock.
