Featuring a compact ac servo motor said to provide the shortest overall length in its class, Tsudakoma RN Series indexers handle a variety of tasks on small vertical machining centers and pallet machines. Their compact footprint allows them to be used in many VMC applications where restrictions on the working envelope reduce flexibility.

Units have an Air Purge System that provides a continual watertight seal to keep coolant and water out of the working mechanism, thus promoting trouble-free operation and reduced maintenance. The Double Disc Clamping System (billed as having the highest clamp torque of indexers in its class) has standard 33 rpm indexing, and a TPC Jr. Controller can program indexers directly on the machine control using an RS-232C signal. A full 4th axis interface is optional.
