Induction Shrink Fit Machine

Lyndex introduces its new induction Shrink Fit Machine. The new Shrink Fit Machine is constructed on a horizontal platform to allow easy insertion of the cutting tool with worry free clamping of the toolholder. Utilizing a horizontal design, toolholder gage lengths up to 8.00" are easily accommodated with no need for additional accessories, fixtures or extensions.

Using Lyndex's new Shrink Fit machine, the operator place a Shrink Fit toolholder into the pneumatic clamping fixture, easily adjusts the induction head to the appropriate gage length, sets the length of time required to expand a particular toolholder and starts the heating process. Within seconds, the toolholder expands, and a tool may be inserted. The toolholder is then cooled and, with the in place, ready for use. Standard tool changing cycle times are 20-30 seconds.

The induction machine's variable time setting provides a convenient method of controlling output power. The efficiency of the coil effects the cycle time of the heating process. With the Lyndex Shrink Fit machine, 3 easy to change coils are included to cover a range from ¼ - 1-1/4" toolholders. In addition, most competitive brands of toolholders can be used without any modifications or difficulties to the operator. The units are available in 110 Volt, 220 Volt (single phase) or 440 Volt (3-phase). All the units are CE certified to ensure all safety precautions have been taken to protect the operator.

Lyndex's Shrink Fit machine is easy to operate. It features an interchangeable pneumatic clamping fixture (30, 40 and 50 taper fixtures are included).
