Magic Drill Indexable Insert Drills

The new Magic Drill offers several technical advantages over conventional indexable drills. Each insert has 4 cutting edges for increased economy. The design of the Magic Drill virtually eliminates retract marks and the excellent chip control achieved by the unique insert design eliminates the tendency to re-cut chips. Therefore, tool life is increased (and more reliable) and the quality of the drilled hole is superb. The Magic Drill has both a side and rear coolant port making it ideal for a wide range of machines. Standard drill diameters are from 13mm (.513") to 50mm (1.969") in 1mm increments. Each drill requires only 2 inserts, reducing tooling costs. Inserts are available in coated carbide grades PR660 and PR930 and uncoated grade KW10.
