Makita Releases New XGT Recip Saw With A Chain Vice With Fast Cutting Speeds

Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released the 40V max XGT Recipro Pipe Saw with Chain Vise (GRJ03). The new Recip Saw delivers the power of a 15 AMP corded recipro saw with a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers up to 40% faster cutting speed than top models in the category. It delivers up to 21 cuts per charge in 4-1/2” steel pipe on a single charge of a 40V XGT 4.0Ah Battery (battery not included).

Faster More Efficient Cutting
The saw includes a chain vice capable of securing materials 8-5/8” inches in diameter. It is ideal for cutting large diameter steel pipe, plastic pipes, and many others. The streamlined chain vise is set up for faster and more efficient cutting. The spring-loaded vise chain can secure the tool when not in use. The GRJ03 features a versatile design that allows operation with or without the chain vise.

Variable Speed Control
The GRJ03 features a variable speed control dial (0-2,200 strokes per minute), that enables the user to match the speed to the application. It features precision cutting capacity up to 8-5/8 inches in diameter. The long 1" stroke length provides increased cutting efficiency.

Convenience Features
Convenience features include an ergonomic handle and a large 2-finger trigger that provides increased comfort on the job. The GRJ03 features simplified blade clamp maintenance for increased productivity. It weighs only 9.9 lbs. with 40V XGT 2.5Ah Battery (battery not included) for reduced operator fatigue.
