Designed to cut mild and thin mild steel, Steel Thunder is manufactured from professional grade C-6 carbide which cuts cooler with virtually no heat. The heat is transferred to the chips created by the saw, allowing immediate handling of cut material.
Steel Thunder will last 30 times longer than abrasive blades and provide a safer, cleaner way to cut metal with little or no sparks or dust associated with abrasives. These tensioned and hardened steel plate blades ensure straight and accurate burr free cuts with minimal vibrating or flexing. The precision ground carbide tips cut 5 times faster than an abrasive blade.
The number of teeth on the blades ranges from 36 to 90. The blades with less teeth are better for thicker material while the ones with more teeth are more suited for use on thin material because they cut smoother and slower. Choose from two tooth configurations, Triple Chip Grind (TCG) and Modified Alternate Bevel (M-ATB). Both withstand impact, reduce wear and deliver long life.
