Rovi Productsro multiple internal collet system lets users hold up to 10 parts on a standard 6-in. vise. Users tighten the vise jaw against the piston, causing the collets to expand on the workpiece ID. A pressure gage enables precise holding of thin-walled parts without distortion.
Both the collets and the mating cylinder are precision ground for an accuracy of ±0.0005 in. After machining collets to the required size, users can load and unload parts in seconds. The system includes one set of 10 expanding collets. Additional collets can be purchased separately.
