New LTP 61 Twin-Motor Nutrunner

Auburn Hills, MI - Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems, presents the LTP 61, offering the same high accuracy as its predecessor the LTP 51, a popular assembly tool among truck and bus manufacturers. But it's much faster - in fact, rundown is twice as fast!
Why twin motors? A standard shut-off nutrunner gives you reliable tightening by building up torque in a smooth, continuous way, which produces excellent quality in the tightening phase. However, this controlled action tends to slow the process down during the rundown phase. The LTP 61 gives you the accuracy you need and high productivity. The secret is the twin-motor arrangement. There is a high-speed motor for fast rundown and a high-torque motor for reliable tightening.
The ergonomically designed LTP 61 is a tool you can work with all day long. Exhaust air is piped through the handle into a hose, minimizing noise from the pneumatic system, and there is no noise generated by the actual process.
"The LTP 61 improves productivity on high torque applications without compromises. With its unique twin motor system and shut off mechanism you get the best of both worlds," said Atlas Copco Product Manager Hans Mandahl.
The LTP 61 fits comfortably in the hand and the reaction force is handled by a torque-reaction bar, minimizing wrist and arm strain for the operator making light work of heavy tasks.
