New WORX 20 Volt Reciprocating Saw Isn't Just For Construction And Demolition Work

By merely changing blades, the cordless reciprocating saw is ideal for drywall cutouts, cutting wood, metal and PVC pipe, and mild steel. There are a number of blade profiles to choose from. The saw’s push-and-pull method of cutting is extremely effective for cutting efficiency. Its pivoting foot plate is adjustable and provides a large contact surface area for stability and control.

The ergonomically designed recip saw has a rubber grip handle for optimal comfort and control. A 20V 2.0 Ah MAX Lithium battery powers the variable speed saw with 0-3000 no-load, strokes-per-minute (spm). A lock-off switch prevents accidental startups and an LED light helps illuminate the work area. The battery has an LED power gauge. By pressing the battery’s keypad, the power gauge indicates how many bars are left before it needs recharging.

The 20V reciprocating saw has a 7/8 in. blade stroke and the saw’s maximum cutting capacity is 7 in. in wood; 3 in. in PVC; and 15/32 in. in steel. The saw is covered by the WORX three-year warranty.

The WORX 20V Reciprocating Saw (WX508L, $99.99) includes one, 20V 2.0 Ah battery, a 3-5 hour charger, one wood cutting and one metal cutting blade.
