Portable End Prep Tool Features Field-Proven Metalbo Motor

A new portable welding end prep tool that features a highly reliable, variable speed 14 Amp electric motor for applications where compressed is not available is being introduced by ESCO Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.

The Esco Electric Wart MILLHOG is an I.D. clamping welding end prep tool that can perform any angle of end prep and bevel, face, and bore simultaneously to produce clean, smooth, and square end preps. Featuring a field-proven Metalbo 14 Amp electric grinder motor and a robust gear reduction mechanism, this hand-held tool produces variable speeds from 100-200 RPM.

Suitable for machining highly alloyed stainless steel pipe and tube from 3/4" I.D. to 4-1/2" O.D. without requiring cutting oils, the Esco Electric Wart MILLHOG plugs into either 110/230 VAC and has an internal converter. Field swappable with existing pneumatic units, standard features include the EscoLock blade lock system and TiN coated cutter blades.
