The Seco Capto line of quick-change tooling allows users to build tools in a wide variety of combinations for use in all types of machine tools. New product offerings include a complete line of toolholders for negative inserts and additional toolholders for inserts unique to the Carboloy brand, such as the MDT, Snap-Tap Threading, Trigon, VNMG 5/16 IC, and DNMG 3/8 IC types.
The tools are said to provide excellent stability, which allows for increased feedrates and results in higher workpiece quality. System repeatability is 0.00008 in. According to the manufacturer, tool changes can be performed in a matter of seconds, and setup is minimized as presetting may be completed away from the machine.
