The system combines a precision, dual-station CNC vise with the company's Ball Lock mounting technology to create a simple quick-change system that is said to repeat to ±0.0005-in. The vise system both locates and locks the vises into position, so they require no indicating. A few turns of a set screw is all that is needed to use the system, which is said to have up to 20,000-lb of hold-down force per shank.
