Reconditioning Service

GUHRING, INC., the world's leading producer of precision holemaking tools for the metalworking industries, has introduced a new reconditioning service for carbide, HSCO and HSS twist drills.

Utilizing the same high-precision, modern CNC grinding machines and coating equipment as that used in GUHRING's main manufacturing plants, the new GUHRING Reconditioning Service restores used standard and special tooling to its original factory quality, condition and performance.

"This service enables customers to realize the full life of their tooling," says Paul Jaques, GUHRING's Manager of Sales and Marketing. "Across multiple regrinds, a GUHRING resharp and recoat will match the performance of the original tool grind and coat. The service is fast, convenient and cost-effective. The quality is unmatched."

Reconditioning prices have been set for GUHRING RT 100 U, RT 100 F, RT 150 GG and GS 200 high performance carbide tooling. Other tooling is quoted per job. Standard turnaround for resharp only is 10 working days; for resharp and TiN (Titanium Nitride) recoat, 15 working days. Three- or two-day rush delivery service also available.

The service is available for most GUHRING standards and specials. Inquiries for competitor tooling are welcome.
