Designed for milling steel, stainless steel, and cast iron, Super Turbo square-shoulder milling cutters are said to offer optimal performance in several square-shoulder applications, including slotting and contouring with depths of cut up to 0.433-in., ramping, pocket- and plunge-milling, and helical and circular interpolation.

Specially designed to handle medium depths of cut and higher feeds, the endmill cutters range from 0.75- to 1.50-in.-dia. and feature through-tool coolant. Shell mills are available from 1.5- to 4.0-in.-dia. in both normal and close-pitch versions.

The tools feature positive radial and axial cutting rake angles for easier, softer cutting action with reduced power consumption and longer tool life. The cutters can be used with the new T250M universal insert grade for general-purpose machining in steel, stainless steel and cast iron.
