Straight-serration Grippers

Straight-serration grippers feature a linear tooth pattern designed to increase directional holding power, providing more grip area and strength than traditional diamond style grippers and minimizing witness marks.

The grippers are considered well suited for turning and chuck jaw applications where extreme rotational torque must be kept in check. The added holding power of the straight grippers typically allows cutting speeds and feeds to be increased, resulting in improved cycle times and productivity. Additionally, the linear lines of the straight grippers can allow for easier loading and unloading of workpieces, especially for close-fit fixtures and chucks.

Grippers are stocked in more than 100 size and serration pitch variations, and in round and square styles. All are made of M2 hss hardened to Rc 60-62 with a black oxide finish.
