Sumitomo's new sumiMill® Wave Roughing Cutter (WRC) is designed for a multitude of applications.
When put to the task, the WRC successfully accomplishes ramping, helical boring, copying, face-milling, slotting and plunging. Materials suitable for use with the WRC include low carbon steel, die steel, stainless steel and cast iron.
The WRC is available in a variety of Arbor Mount Series sizes, and Weldon Shank Series sizes, both using inserts offering up to 8 indexes.
