A new tool tracking application called Tool Manager gives users the ability to check crib inventory, assign stock to individual jobs, check missing tools, and track inventory to each work station. Using drag-and-drop, tool room employees can assign tools to jobs by part number or work station. A click of the mouse lets you add or subtract the number of tools, view available stock, and check out requested inventory to the work station. When tools are returned, the tool crib manager can compare stock checked out with stock returned, and missing inventory can be tracked to the work station.
