Circle Machine Company's Trigon Tooling is the strongest Trigon Tooling available. It has a unique three-wall pocket design for additional boring bar strength-making it up to 40% stronger. This Trigon Tooling allows for no insert movement in pocket when cutting forces are applied.

Circle's Trigon inserts are known to be thicker than standard 60-degree triangle inserts. In fact, they demonstrate the strength of an 80-degree corner with three cutting edges.
Superior coated and uncoated insert grades and chipbreaker designs are available for most machining applications. 0.004", 0.008", and 0.015" insert corner radii are held in stock.

As well, Circle Machine Company offers the smallest minimum bore for each shank size available, boring down to a minimum of 0.260". Steel and carbide shanks in popular diameters are available for maximum strength and rigidity.
