The ETR36 turret head lets users perform numerous operations at the same tool station
SOMEX Incurret head lets users perform numerous operations at the same tool station, or to sequence tool changes for continuous operation. The unit features a 5.5-20 hp brushless servo motor that drives the spindle at speeds up to 12,000 rpm and also indexes the turret. Through-tool coolant capability and a choice of HSK, ABS, ISO30, and straight-bore spindle connections add to flexibility. The head can be used for milling, boring, and drilling of holes up to 30 mm diam in mild steel, as well as tapping thread sizes to M24.
