Marietta, GA – WinWare, Inc. has combined the world's leading toolcrib automation software with a heavy-duty modular drawer system that allows the storage, distribution and return of unique items. The CribMaster ToolCube includes features that propel the CribMaster system to yet another level by enabling controlled access to customizable, modular drawer configurations.

"Like the other CribMaster point-of-use distribution devices, the ToolCube is simple to use," states Larry Harper, WinWare President. The user walks up to the ToolCube, scans an employee badge with the attached scanner or uses the touch screen to enter their name and password. The user selects the tool or supply they are searching for and a green light appears on the drawer containing the item. The user pulls the drawer and is allowed to access only the item that is selected.

The CribMaster Toolcube is powered by CribMaster using a touch screen interface. When issuing a tool the ToolCube captures not only who is obtaining the tooling or supplies, but also which department they are from, machine they are working on, etc. This criteria is user definable which means each organization can set the machine to track up to six cost centers that are appropriate for their operation. So every time a tool or supply is dispensed management will know where it was used, who used it and why it was being used. Scheduling some of CribMaster's 170 + reports to automatically print or e-mail ensures that management is seeing the information they need to improve their operation and by using CribMaster's automatic purchasing features, they can also be assured that the ToolCube will never run out of stock.

Mr. Harper goes on to state, "The ToolCube is great for storing and distributing durable items that need to be returned, expensive, expendable items like carbide, re-workable items that require sharpening or calibrating and even safety items like respirators or gloves." When returning an item, the user simply walks up to the ToolCube and scans an employee badge with the attached scanner or uses the touch screen to enter his/her name and password. The user then selects return mode from the touch screen and the ToolCube shows them exactly which tools or supplies they are accountable for. The user then selects the tool or supply they are returning and the light indicates the drawer the item is to be returned.

The ToolCube is an addition to CribMaster, which is an all-inclusive inventory control system that improves manufacturers' ability to distribute and track tools and other supplies with accuracy and confidence. The system is controlled by Windows-based software, developed specifically for the manufacturing industry and uses bar coding to tie fast and reliable toolcrib transactions to a powerful system of inventory control. CribMaster's system flexibility offers the ability to expand software controlled vending stations with add-on ToolCubes, Toolboxes and electronic lockers.
