XT Precision High Performance Collet System

XT Precision, the latest high performance collet system from Command Tooling Systems, features outstanding accuracy and gripping pressure at any speed.

The new XT Precision Collet System is ideal for long run repeatability on CNC milling, drilling, and reaming operations. The extreme accuracy and gripping pressure ensures precise tool centering and rigidity -- tools last longer and cut more accurately. This balanced chip-cutting feature increases metal removal by up to 200%.

Single angle collet chuck design efficiently transfers torque on the compression nut into gripping force on the tool. Improved gripping pressure through the full .040" (1 mm) collapsibility results in greatly improved tool life. Equipped with these XT Precision Collets, the toolholder easily takes the thrust of drilling and reaming as well as milling.

Optimal performance of the XT Precision Collet System results when XT Precision Collets are used in conjunction with XT Precision Collet Chucks. A mean runout of less than .005 mm, with a standard deviation of .001 mm, at the collet face is guaranteed with this combination of XT Precision Products. The new XT Precision Collet Chucks are available in HSK 63 and 100, V-Flange 30, 40, 45, and 50, plus BT-Flange 30, 35, 40, and 50 in metric sizes ranging from .5 mm to 26 mm.

XT Precision Collets are also interchangeable with Command's Micro Precision Collet Chucks. Machine operators can enhance accuracy without obsoleting existing toolholder inventory.
