Cutting tool manufacturer completes acquisition

IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. (Perrysburg, OH) announced the recent acquisition of Menlo Tool, a privately held company headquartered in Warren, MI.

Founded in 1962, Menlo is a leading export manufacturer of solid carbide cutting tools and services. Menlo's headquarters are in Warren, MI. The acquisition also includes Menlo's Indiana production facility.

Both IMCO and Menlo have consistently sought out and developed new technology to better serve their customers, said IMCO president Perry Osburn, vowing to continue the companies' tradition of delivering high-quality products and services.

"Although we are making significant changes to our organization's structure, we have not changed course in terms of strategy," Osburn said. "We will continue to cultivate high-technology milling solutions and seek opportunities for growth in export markets.
