The radius angle dresser's simple design produces extremely accurate forms with a minimum amount of set up time. Diamond can be set rapidly to within .0001". Angles are set with vernier markings and adjustable stops. Angles can, also, be set with the use of a sine plate when extreme accuracy is required. Removable diamond slide allows radii to be set precisely with the use of gage blocks without removing the dresser from the surface grinder. Optical lens allows a clear view of the dressing operation.
With correct diamond, internal radii as small as .003" can be dressed. Largest external radius is 7/16" and the largest internal radius is 1" on a maximum 8" diameter wheel.
