  2. Shrink-Fit Toolholders 9/6/2002
    Techniks shrink-fit toolholders provide concentric clamping force of 10,000 lbs or more directly on the tool shank. This translates to a T.I.R. as low as 0.0” to 0.0002”.

    Ideal for high speed or high torque machining applications.

    Shrink-fit toolholders are balanced to 15,000 RPM at G2.5 for high speed performance. Balancing to higher speed is available upon request.

    Choose from CAT40, 50, BT40, HSK63A, 100A, 63F, and ISO30 styles.

    Operation

    Use for ultra-precision drilling and reaming operations. This chuck offers excellent repeatability, surface finish and improved carbide tool life because of the high clamping force and a T.I.R. of only 0.0001". It is specially designed so the toolholder cannot be damaged if accidently clamped down when empty.

    Available for CAT40 and 50 spindles

  8. Height Gauge and Tightening Stand 9/6/2002
    Save machine time and increase productivity by pre-setting tools offline.

    Tighten and untighten the collet nut and pull stud and set the height of your tool all in one setup. Works for BT, CAT, ISO, HSK tool holders.

    Height gauge can be ordered separately. A different fixture is used to secure holders with drive dog notches. Any 30 taper tool holder works with a 30 taper unit, just change the tightening device to accommodate each type of tool holder.

    Accurate to .001" for height gauge.
